Artist's Comments

I decided to bring my camera along when we went canoeing yesterday. Just when I was about to frustratedly accept the fact that maybe I wasn't going to encounter any interesting wildlife to take photographs of, our canoe drifted past a mallard mother and her six babies. The mother was friendly enough to let us station our canoe about a feet or two away from her chicks, so I was able to take quite a few pictures. I didn't realize this until I was looking my through my photos, but you can see the mother's reflection in the water if you look at the bottom left corner. Maybe you already noticed that. Haha, hey, it was a surprise for me. (This was taken on Lake Washington, btw.)

Comments more than welcome as always.

More animal shots just a click away! :w00t:
