Oh hahahahahahahaha!!! You're so funny! I love dingos! I know they're wild, but still. I think they can be domesticated? Love dingos.
:iconnature-obsessed:
yea... you can actually keep dingoes in australia, but you need a specific licence and a whole lotta land!! they love being up high too, so you need to have BIG logs and forts all ova the enclosure!!! but other that that it's easy!! lol!!

(did you know; that 'dingoes' are practically extinct, they have cross bread with soo many domesticated dogs that there are no pure breeds on land, and the only other place is frasier island... and there is no hard evidence to sugest there are pure breeds there either!!) :cries:

Really? I had no idea you had to have a license. Why would you need a license though? Isn't just like keeping an exotic breed of dog? Are they really expensive then? Are they more aggressive than regular dog breeds since they have not been domesticated as long?

I thought they had recovered from their 'endangeredness' lol. That's so sad! :'(
:iconnature-obsessed:
cross bred dingo's are really common... they're a BIG problem on land, as when they breed with domestic animals (and it's normally on farms that are the problem, farmers have pig-dogs - they breed with the pig dogs... then obviosly that breed would be aggressive) they then become a problem... but pure breeds are placid, solitary and are better describes as a wolf... check out,

(she's one of my friends, we worked at the same zoo... and in the picture is a dingo)

Well, don't they eventually become tamer the more they are bred with domesticated dogs? What are pig-dogs? Are they just dogs that work on the farm? So crossbreds are aggressive but purebreds are gentle?

Awww!!! So cute! I have a lot of favourite dog breeds, but one of them is the Australian Kelpie! :D Do you know any?
:iconnature-obsessed:
well yes... i think one of my photo's are titled 'hungry' and she's a purebred chocolate kelpie =D

it'n not neciceraly that they breed with domestic dog's they're aggressive, but in most cases they will breed with a farm dog (any big dog breed), that has been trained to go pigging (not my favorite dog)... it's where they train the dogs to kill any wild bores/pigs bacuase otherwise they will eat the farmmers 'whatever he's farming' ... so the breed will be genetically programed, each breed has their own temprament... kelpies and golden retrievers are loyal etc... and pure dingoe's are placid!but again, their arn't many of tose around!!

btw... i love cavalier king charles spaniels, they're soo cute!!

wow! nough said i'm thinking?? these are becoming BIG comments!! lol
